Winner! 2008 Lotus CTO Award

Trilog Group was announced as the winner of the coveted Lotusphere 2008 CTO Award at the Opening General Session of Lotusphere 2008 inOrlando, Florida for its innovative family of ProjExec collaborative solutions for project teams that integrate numerous Lotus collaborative technologies, including IBM WebSphere Portal.  As one of the top categories in the 13th annual IBM Lotus Awards, the prestigious CTO award recognizes visionary IBM Business Partners leading the charge in exploiting Lotus' latest collaborative capabilities in innovative, leading-edge, and exciting new ways. These best-of-breed solutions will be drivers in tomorrow's new markets, fostering innovation, and at an ingenuity level above the normal boundaries.

Trilog’s ProjExec solutions exemplify the vision and innovation singled out by the Lotus CTO Award.  Trilog’s ProjExec® Online is the first collaborative project management solution built to run on IBM middleware in a true SaaS delivery model.  The company’s ProjExec Express for Quickroffering is the first full-featured project scheduling and tracking solution that works with Quickr services for WebSphere Portal and provides two-way synchronization with Microsoft Project.  Both solutions leverage the composite application framework of IBM WebSphere Portal to provide the reliability, security and proven performance required to meet the collaborative project management needs of customers across a wide range of markets.

We are once again honored to be recognized by IBM Lotus for exploiting Lotus' latest collaborative capabilities in innovative and leading-edge ways,” said Alex Homsi, president and CEO of Trilog Group.  “The IBM Lotus portfolio support for the strategic SOA development model has enabled Trilog Group to produce a composite application that has subsequently enabled many cutting-edge derivations using the ProjExec components.  On one hand, we developed an open and modular SaaS solution that allows even the smallest company to benefit from IBM’s leading worldwide enterprise portal technologies for one low price.  Using the same component framework, Trilog was able to extend the value of Lotus Quickr 8 to support effective project team collaboration.

Among many noteworthy advances, ProjExec Online uses IBM Lotus Domino 8 in an exciting innovative approach for email and the LDAP directory.  Trilog’s uniquely simple but highly secure implementation of Domino as the LDAP directory in ProjExec Online gives users complete freedom invite anyone to join a project, even if the invited participant is not registered in the directory prior to the issue of an invitation.  The integrated ProjExec Express for Quickr solution combines the robust features of Trilog’s award-winning ProjExec solution with Lotus Quickr Services for WebSphere Portal to offer IBM customers a competitive, more affordable alternative to Microsoft Project Server and Sharepoint Portal.
